Default Scrambler question

I just did mine again two days ago so it is fresh in my mind. You will need a 1/4" wrench.(6.5 metric works too). It is better if you have a piece of clear hose that will fit snuggly over the bleed nipple. A cheap brake bleed kit from an auto parts store works well for this. I got one for 1.50 from Harbor Freight. With this method you do not need help. Put the clear hose pointed upward so that it will hold some liquid, over the bleed nipple that is to the right and lower as you look at the rear of the quad. Loosen the nipple a quarter turn or so. Open the brake fluid resivuor, so you can add fluid as needed. Pump the peddle a time or two. If your taller like I am you can watch the hose as you pump. Bubbles and fluid should come out. Do not run the resivuor empty. Tighten the bleed nipple and test the brakes. They should be solid. If not repeat the steps. When done the resivuor should be filled the nipple should be tightened down and the peddle should be firm. Oh yeah you will need a small bottle of DOT 3 brake fluid. Good Luck!!!
