The first time I rode mine was in the snow. It does just fine. It'll spins donuts real nice in a snow covered parking lot too. I spun around so much I almost puked. We went trail riding in about 4" of snow and did ok. The 250 did a little better with the 489s but I still had a lot of fun on the 400. I pulled a sled behind it too. That was a blast! Just make sure the person on the sled is wearing a full faced helmet. TB 400 have you started modding yet? The HPD trail pipe and clutch kit is very impresive. I had to put more tension on the rear spring to help keep the front end down on some of the trails I ride.
