My older (1992 or ?) Polaris 350 2 stroke 4X4 has periods of time (almost always now)
when something changes: it won't idle worth a darn and it won't start in reverse at all.
It will start in forward gear or neutral and run OK with gas but dies when it's supposed to idle,
but when starting it, it sounds funny - a deeper throaty noise as it turns over, like when you pull the choke on a lawnmower.
Because these problems always occur together, I sense it may be a switch/electrical problem- any ideas- PLEASE!
