Durable rims anyone?
#1
I do a lot of trail riding in rocky areas. So far, I have destroyed 1 full sets of factory rims and the ones I have now are ready for the junk pile. Now that it is time to get new tires, I would like to get some rims that will handle what I hand out. If I clip a tree or rock it would be nice to see them still in one piece. However, I dont really want added weight of steal either. Any suggestions for this (besides not clipping rocks and trees)?:-)

Douglas .190 Aluminums.....great wheels! I beat the crap out of my stock steel rims and haven't even put a scratch on the new rims!! Certainly worth the $$.
I went with Douglas because after my research and searching I found more comments about ITP aluminums bending/denting easier....
I got my tires and wheels from RockyMountainATV----give them a call, they'll help you out---great customer service!

Go with ITP or Douglas .190 rims with the reinforcing rings. Little pricey up front, but sounds like the would save YOU money in the long run. Also, if you are buying tires, make sure they are wider so the sides will act as rim guards.
