Those tie rods suck! I used female 1/2-20 rod ends on my 400 scrambler and my buddies 250 TB. I just drilled the holes oversize to 1/2 inch in the spindle and the stem and put 1/4 inch tall spacers under the ends at the spindle. Shim the inner ones tight in the stem with washers or spacers and use good grade 8 bolts for everything. This was way cheaper than using the polaris parts( at around $50 per end) I think I have about $60 in all 4 ends and the hardware. This setup has far outlasted the original tie rods, they were loose after about six months and ready to kill after about nine mo. I do ride ride mine pretty much every weekend though.
