Hi All,
Just wanted to add something to the post. I have a Sportsman 600, and I think the EBS works extremely well. When I ride on anything but steep hills, I rarely have to use my brakes. If I just lift off the throttle, it stops on it's own in a very short distance.
As far as descending steep hills, all I have to do is apply light pressure on the brakes and blip the throttle every couple seconds. It works great for me.
Happy riding!!

....doesn't hold a candle to other EBS systems?
have to disagree with you there. Like I said before, polaris EBS is the best on the market. I've tried a few others, polaris EBS is simply the best. And don't be surprised if in the future the "other" manufacturers copy Polaris' EBS like they have so many other Polaris features in the past.
A first time ATVer is always going to make it down a steep grade safer on an EBS equipped polaris than they are on any other brand, so I don't know what you are talking about there either. Its simply easier to stay on the trail. If Polaris changes their EBS, it would be a mistake. As far as I know they are the only ones who offer it to the rear wheels only. If it is different to you, learn how to drive it the way others in this post have suggested, you might change your mind....
Good luck with your shoulder....
