Default Carb Problems on a Trail Blazor 250?

Hi all,

I am stuck and hope someone can help.

I have always been careful to not leave the bike parked with gas in the carb and have never had problems with it before. A couple of weeks ago I took it out riding. I ran fine for a few minutes and then started acting up. It starts fine, it runs fine at an idle through mid throttle, but when every I punch it the bike just start sputtering and trying to die out. I have cleaned the carb up to the point of any holes I can see with the bowl off. I have also changed the plug and the fuel filter.

If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you checked the spark plug and do you have any mods installed?

Default Carb Problems on a Trail Blazor 250?

Hi,

I have changed the spark plug and the bike is stock. I had someone tell me that it might be the float valve. Does this make sense?

Thanks,

If its a new TB, I would say that a stuck float valve is unlikely, but possible.
Since you've changed your plug what about the air filter?
