Everyone knows that the Predator nor the YFZ are not as fast as the Alpha Sport 50.

Come on guys get over it they both are great quads - the tale is going to be in which one lasts the longest>>>

 

I just raced a 450 for the first time last week-end. I was expecting to lose. Kinda like I was the first time I raced a Raptor. The Yamaha PR machine is still on top of the game. They are fast, but not unbeatable. Anyway I raced a Predator too. Both the Predator & 450 seemed pretty equal to me.

 

I have to agree. Just Ride It.

 

Tonight at the drags for index if anyone needs it - 300 Feet Mixed Soil (sand, dirt)

Predator Jardine Slip On no rejetting, pump gas, 4 snow tires on rear - 4.893

Yamaha 450 Full Duncan Racing Exhaust, Rejetted, Pump Gas, Stock Tires - 5.016

Both seemed to be consistant with the times. Both riders has reactions of less than 500 both bikes went through the 60 feet in less than 1.5 seconds.

 

the 450 is fasterr on the dirt, the bike just hooks and goes. the predator just spins. i never raced organized on the street or asphault, on dirt you can't catch the 450

 

I beat one on dirt.... anything is possible. I might even lose to the next ten 450's.

 

i finnaly got to ride one in something almost like a strait stretch... (its full of whoops and bumps and everything)
it went good... but the pred seemed to go better.. my pred wasnt there so we couldnt drag.. not that i would want to on that surface anyway.
