Default Another rip in sidewall

Need some help running the stock 489s and paid 29.99 to have torn sidewall repaired on one side, now have one on the other side and wondering if I should put tubes in untill the tires wear out, or pay to have this side fixed if it can be? I guess what I am asking if putting tubes in is OK. PS tubes are cheaper than repairs

On further inspection it looks like the bead has been pushed slightly off the rim. Can I put air in the tire to try to reseat it and if so how much psi, I've had it up to 40 but the tire says 25 psi max for seating tire

To reseat the tire to the rim break it the rest of the way down and soap up the tire rreal good clean the rim and reseat it it may take 30 lbs or so.If the hole in the sidewall isnt real big put a couple of plugs in it(I have 3 plugs in one hole and they have been there 3 yrs)

Thanks thats the same advice I got from a friend tonight so I am going to his house tomorrow morning and do exactly like you said(he has a tire changer). Nothing is more frustrating than a slow leak, I would almost rather have a ruined tire and buy a new one. Thanks again
