Anyone bothered by the chain noise on their Pred? Mine rattles like hell on the swingarm skid. I have tried running the chain a little tighter but without any change. Was using a smaller countershaft sprocket for a while but that was even worse. I need a skid plate for our type of riding so removal is really not an option unless there is a better aftermarket design.
Any Ideas?

Get a softer Chain roller. Took away my sound. the stock roller has a plastic bearing or somthing like that, doesnt work very well. I'd tell you where I got mine from, but im that unhappy with their service, im gonna do you a favor and save you the headache i had to deal with. Ask around..you'll find em! I agree with Scott, it's the roller that makes all that noise. After a while, it goes away sort of. Or I just got used to it!

Yeah, i lubed my stock one up, didnt find it helped enough. Got tired of everyone asking me what that noise was. Didnt think it was that bad till i swaped bikes with a friend and heard it on mine. DAMN!

As for the company ken, after i posted before about being satisfied,...well basically i've gotten the cold shoulder from them...havent return any emails or calls...mind you they didnt charge me the roller, but still..i called about prices of products.no reply...thats great business..
