Well, there is almost every type of riding you can think of up here. Great trails, lots of swamps for good mud riding, and a lot of gravel pits. We even have big sand dunes. They arent actually sand, its glacier silt but its basically the same thing. Its cool. I usually ride at a place called Knik Glacier. It starts out real hot and sandy but as you get closer to the glacier, it starts to cool down. Its about 24 miles from the parking area to the glacier, and its almost all flat so you can go full throttle the whole way. The glacier itself is huge and you can walk on it and stuff if you want. If you get tired of the flat land just turn to your right into the mountains and there are tons and tons of trails with huge mud puddles and stuff. Basically any kind of riding you want you can find up here. Knik Glacier is only about 45 minutes away from the city so its not very far away. The best part about riding up here is there is basically no laws. Just do whatever you want. Most people think alaska is some place thats always cold and is filled with eskimos and snow. none of thats true. Ive only seen like 3 eskimos in my life. The city im in has tons of buildings and stores and lots of traffic and everything, but take a 30 minute ride out of town and your basically in the middle of no where. I love living here.

Rick- whenever you do come up we'll be glad to take you riding. You can ride my brothers sportsman, he never uses it that much.

anyone else that wants to come up i'll take riding. Just PM me or something.

hope this is what you were looking for anything else you want to know feel free to ask.

Awesome link! I wonder how those compare to the jet-engine and nuclear power engines on some of the other giant ships and carriers.
