Default What Tools should I always carry?

I want to get together all the tools I would need for when I go ryding.
What would you say I need to carry w/ me, & what I should have in the Car?

Right now I only have the Dinky tool kit that came w/ my Scrambler...
So I would like to be prepared for the worst..

Thanx for anyone's suggestions

Here's what I did...I took my wheeler apart at the house and wrote down all the tools I used....for trail-side work there's about 5 tools you'll need and for everything else there's about 5 more....

Taking it apart let me get familiar with how it comes apart and what needs to come off to get to something.....very informative for me....

When I get home I'll get my list for you.....

Here's my list...I think this is all, I don't think I needed anything else...

7/16" Socket
3/8" Socket
1/2" Socket
Flat Screwdriver
Philips Screwdriver
Torx Head (T-20 is what is one mine)
Pliers

Plus a few things from the under-the-seat tool kit....which stays there----you can never be too prepared.

You may want to carry both a regular and a deep socket unless you can find 1 socket that is deep enough but not so long that it won't fit in some places.

I have a small plastic box about 5" long and 3" wide and 2" deep that I carry those tools in that I put in one side of my tank bags (the other side has the tow/pull strap)....the box is from a small cheapo socket or nut driver kit I've long since lost all the pieces....

As for anything else....I have a full socket set, snap ring pliers, needle nose pliers, scissors, tape, nut driver, marker, hammer and anything else I think I might need. I throw all of that in a tool bag and it stays in the truck.

I also have a box that I carry in the truck that has my extras in it....2qt of oil, oil filter, hub fluid, front end lube, spark plugs, K&N cleaner, original air filter (just in case), grease gun...

Just about every time I go in the dealers I pick something up.....that way it doesn't seem so expensive.....I need to pick up an extra belt, some coolant and a few other things....

I also carry in a plastic zip lock in my tank bag a small bottle of aspirin, eye drops, a cloth, a few dollars....

Uhm, do not forget the cold 6er!!!!11

Seriously, multi bit screwdriver and 3/8 drive rack of sockets, vice grips, 1 roll of duct tape, a few wire ties ( zip ties),1 can fix a flat, and tire plugs.

If you need more tools than that you do not have the parts to fix it anyway.
