installing prim & sec springs 04 sp600
Two days ago I installed a Team Performance secondary clutch and changed out the primary clutch spring and weights on my new Sportsman 700. I took some pretty good digital photos of the "work in progress". E-mail me if your interested and I will e-mail you the pictures ( mncreid@epix.net ). I had never been in the cover either before this and it was very easy.

Hi 400sp,
I have not gotten out to the trails yet but I did try her out on some dirt roads and in a field near by. All I can say is I'm loving it!!! The up shifting and back shifting is flawless and there is a very noticeable difference in acceleration. The power being delivered to the ground is much stronger now and the bottom through mid range hit is certainly quicker. I did notice that the clutch now engages at a SLIGHTLY higher RPM which is hardly noticeable in high gear but in low gear you will want to ease into the throttle when taking off and even at that she's a bit jumpy. You may think "that's cool" but if your doing any technical rock crawling I'm afraid she might be to jumpy if your not careful. I'll get use to it I'm sure....this is the ONLY somewhat negative thing I've found. I would HIGHLY recommend this set up. Give Hot Seat Performance a call and they'll hook you up (and NO, I do not work for them. They were just very easy to deal with and were very helpful).
