Default Footpegs??

Hey fellas, does anyone know if there are footpegs available for the sports?? I am just looking to lighten up my quad some and was looking at eliminating the floorboards, or should i go with nerf bars. i am mostly into mx racing and some harescrambles. one more thing, is the lighter battery worth it?? or is that just something u put back in when your battery goes bad???

I think that HPD makes some aluminum foot pegs. But if you are MX-ing, then nerfs would be a good idea. If you dont mind pull start only, then you can eliminate the battery and starter and get a White Bros. battery eliminator kit. With the starter gone, you can have the flywheel race lightened for faster revs

DI TOE what bigbadscrambler said. If you remove the battery and starter
and have your flywheel lightened you will DIFFENETLY feel the difference.

Remove the footpeg from the floor boards (drill out rivets-3 each side). Remove floor boards, cut front square stock off of frame- LEAVE rear square stock in place, DO NOT REMOVE. Attach footpeg to top of rear square stock to create new footpeg. Add footpeg extenders from James Lucky ATV Products for the ultimate control.

Should take less than an hour , and will cost you nothing without the extenders. Extenders will cost you about $20 w/ shipping
