Does that air box mod make it a lot easier for water/silt get into the airbox? How difficult was the install....cutting/drilling/riveting????
also, anyone seen that stabilizer stabilizer on any rides?

I'll let you check my description to know who I like. I have said it before though, the products are so close that you really should go with what ever company gives you confidence in their products. Make sure of their gauranties for HP claims so if your not happy you can return the item if need be.

Rook, you will find yourself cleaning the Outerwears more often. Unfortunely, the draw back to letting more air in is also letting more dirt and water in. It isn't that bad though. But, I also ride in very soaky conditions and hit EVERY mud and water hole I see, EVERYONE!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I have pictures of the installation. It was pretty easy. I used a dremmil to cut out the opening for the scoop on the old lid. HPD supplies the drill bit and rivits to attach the scoop on. You also want to use silicone to insure an air tight seal. I would also reccomend notching out some of the metal where the clamps hold the lid on. I found out the hard way. The carb mods are real easy. You get a new main jet, as well as a modidied needle jet tube and a new spring. All of those are real easy to install. Thats about it.
