I went and looked at a 400 i had refured to in other posts the guy was selling it for 1400$ and it was a 99 sport he told me it was a 2000 but its plastic was 99 anyways i just wanted to say thanks for all the info that was posted on here about what i should look out for the compression on it was just over 100 and i always wondered what was meant buy milky looking counter balence oil "now i know" on top of all that it had stock tires on it that you could hardly feel the tread on but it did run real strong "compared to my 250" but with all these potentally bad things going on i passed..

 

dont blame you... and any 400 will feel stronger than a 250.. even if its ****.

 

You need to rethink about that Hozed. Not every 400 will feel stronger than a 250. Mine being one of them 250's. My 250 will eat up a stock 400 and know of a few others on this site that has some pretty quick 250's.

 

that kinda goes with out saying.. obviously if a 250 is pimped.. than it could be faster... but most people compare quads that are equal in mods..

just a quick questions...
is there something you own.. that isnt lifted with 33's or bigger on it... i almost hate to ask what you got on your TB...

 

Just my wifes jeep 31"s ,and my 250. But the 250 does have 23" tires instead of the 22 stock tires. Where I live we have to have 4x4 or bigger tires. Still cant figure out why I bought a sport 2x4 sport quad that i dumped a ton of money into it to make it fast instead of a 4x4 quad. Still fun either way. Thats why I have my offroad trucks.

I will have pics soon oncwe I figure out how to post them. Yes it is expensive but thats why I drive toyotas because they have much less breakage. The most expensive part of the whole thing is the tires, lockers and gears. I really dont care how they look but my toys do run!!!! My tacoma is the best looking one cause it is my every day driver. The 84 with the 12"lift is the show truck and the other 2 are the beaters.
