trail blazer in the mud!

hey guys i have a 1999 trail blazer with titan 489 xts and i goes good in the mud until the water goes into the clutch and the belt starts to slip is there a way to moddify the clutch intake so it dont. i know u cant block off the air b/c the clutch would get to hot but is there a way to just to close it up when your in the mud and open it back up when your not.

The clutch air intake is up pretty high so you must be
riding in some deep water. Are you sure that the water is not
coming in from the seals? I would not block the intake off
because the clutch generates a lot of heat pretty quick and
you are only asking for trouble!

You would have to be in water up to your seat to have come in through the intake. I agree with Talonhawk. Check your seals first. If you are unsure, fill your clutch housing up with water and check to see where it leaks out from. Make sure to blow the water out of the clutches afterwards
