Default Scrambler electrical help!!

I have an electrical gremlim that I need help with. On hot days, or when I ride for a long while (4-5 hrs), every electrical component on my Scrambler shuts off. Head lights, brake lights, gauges and the AWD system shuts down. The weird thing about it is that the engine keeps running and I can still ride with 2x4. If I turn off the quad, I can't turn it back on until the the electrical system comes back on (usually I park it with the ignition and headlight switch on and wait for the quad to cool down and the headlights to turn back on). For a while I thought the AWD was broken because during the day I couldn't notice the AWD and electrial system would shut off at the same time (again the engine kept running and if I wasn't climbing hills, I wouldn't even notice the loss of AWD). My questions are: Is there some sort of breaker in the electrical system that trips open when it gets too hot and is this normal? And how is it possible the spark plug is getting juice to keep the motor running and everything else shuts off? Any guesses on where to start to look for the problem are greatly apperciated!

Default Scrambler electrical help!!

I recently had a electrical problem with my Scrambler. I would not get any power to any accessories, No starter no lights no lights on the guage pod. If you were to pull start the bike the engine would fire right up. The problem was the wire harness got disconnected from the ignition switch. Pluged it back it and every thing was fine. Hope this helps.
