I have been pulled over once before. I as riding in town on the way home and the cop pulled me over...what made me mad was that people drive in town all the time...My dad and a group of other people have been pulled over too...only 2 50$ tickets because of no proof of registration...one quad was mine...and I had it in my wallet and I wasnt with and the other was an old three wheeler that never was registerd. In Minnesota you can ride in mowed ditches when the phesants are nesting and unmowed any other time...you can also ride on unpaved county roads I think...its pretty leinent here...hope you do good at court.

I was stopped once for ridding on a paved road. I road about 2 miles on a paved road to get some gas and a coke at the store and on the way back I was stopped by a cop. The funny thing is when I got off of my atv and looked back at the police car, guess who was sitting in it. The owner of the store at which I had just bought gas and a coke from. I felt like ripping his D--- head off. I had noticed while I was in the store paying for the gas I heard a police scanner but it didn't cross my mind at the time he would call them on me. As you can guess I never stepped foot in that store again and it closed soon after that.

 

some of the trails here you almost HAVE to ride on the road to get gas...and this is off of STATE trails...I guess Minnesota is more atv friendly...maybe because of the polaris planet here [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Well i just got back from court, I got a 60$ fine and i have to go to 1 traffic safety class.... The thing that really makes me mad is there was 4 quads going across the park near my house one of the riders was my friend and the they got caught the cop said go home... WTF and the cop i had gave me a ticket and they were messing up the grass and stuff...

Yeah i know it could of been worse, I am glad the fine was not more than that!!!

 

You have to love living in a small town in Connecticut where our entire police force is 4 officers. Usually only one or two on duty. LOL

 

yeah it could have been alot worse, my buddie has 4000 dollars worth of tickets, he got caught 3 times( he ran and got caught) and his dads a cop. jersey sucks when it comes to quads or dirtbikes. but it still sucks you got the ticket bro.

Cops blow. However were're all gunn have to deal with them at some piont especially if we get caught on the roads with our quads.
