Default Trailblazer 400

Hi, I'm considering a Trailblazer 400 for my wife. She rode one last weekend and liked the automatic trans. What are the pros and cons with this quad. Does the automatic require extra maintenance? Is it durable and reliable. How about the engine? Any info would be appreciated. We're also looking at a Honda 250 ex. Thank you. Jeff.

I've got a '97 Polaris Sport 400. It's essentially the same bike as the TrailBlazer 400 with a few differences. Mine has been a great bike. The only problems I've had out of it are the result of me being an idiot or the dealership working on it being an idiot. Maintenance isn't a big deal. I can completely service everything on my bike in less than a day, and I'm slow and really take my time. The engine is great. Makes great power. Even stock it makes good power. Have fun with it! The TB400 is a great bike in stock form. It has super potential as well. She will love it over the ex for sure. You might too. No more maintence than any other quads. They are quite reliable. Good luck!
