2 strokes do not have engine oil. They only have injector oil and this is just something you need to fill up every once in a while. Most people use the Polaris gols synthetic but if you can not affoard it then the Polaris blue will work just fine. Just keep an eye on the oil light and then you will know when it is time to top off. You may have to fill maybe 1-2 times a yrar. I ride mine hard and it has tons of mods but I only have to fill it about 2 times a year.

thanks i appreciate that i had no clue cause im new at this but thanks also i got the automatic how many gears does it have cause i cant tell when its shifting? can anyone help me out?

It has a variable transmission. There are no gears just a belt with a primary clutch and secondary clutch. Just hit the gas and go. Your top speed will tell you that it has shifted all the way out.You never have to worry about over revving it while it is in gear.

So i can give it full throttle and it wont hurt it at all? and do you what the top speed would be all i know is that i was on the road with cars and i was catching up with them in a 45mph zone but im not sure

There are very few people on here that have highly moded TB's so if you have any questions either Me or Talonhawk would be glad to help but there are also alot of other guys here that know alot about Polaris 2 strokes. Just to name a few, Bubba297,Modquad,Ced, Rick ritter, BigBadScrambler, ftwflh, Scrambler123 and others that I may have forgot. There is alot of knoledge between these guys. Welcome to the forum and good luck with the future mods. You WILL want mods in the future. The Trailblazer has huge potential.

Yea, the 250 is a good engine. You know what is embarassing? Owning an Xplorer 400, and getting passed by somebody on a modded 250, who spent like only $150 to get the bike that fast.
On the other hand, I can still hitch to a trailer they can't LOL
I recommend synthetic oil in the Polaris 2 strokes. It doesn't HAVE to be the Polaris brand, but that is what I would recommend you use, at least through the warranty period. That way if anything goes wrong, they can't blame it on the wrong oil. The synthetic costs somewhat more, but on my 400 Xplorer, I use a little less than one gallon per thousand miles, so it goes a long way. My spark plugs last enough longer to offset the extra cost of the oil, if you can believe that! As of right now, I have over 6500 miles on the same plug! When I used the regular oil, I had to change plugs about every 1500 miles or so. In my mind, if it fouls the plug that much less, it should be leaving the rest of the engine cleaner, as well.
One last thing, check the air cleaner religously. 2 cycle engines suck twice as much air as a comparable sized 4 cycle, and are less tolerant of a dirty filter. Check it often, at least until you get a feel for how long you can go before it gets dirty.
