Has anyone tried different tires on the Predator.
I have a 04 and polaris shortend the swing arm from the 03 to try to get more traction .BUT guess what it NEEDS MORE!
I like sliding but when it comes to getting traction for jumps or Drags or in the snow It sucks. I think it gets to much wheel spin ad if it hooked up better it would be faster.
I don't know what it is about the quad but, I see the same tires on Raptors and they seem to hook up more.
So what is the Best Tires for the Pred??????

 

pudljumpr said his kenda klaws worked great on them.. atleast i think it was him... and i plan on gettin a set this spring.. they hook up real well on the track.. and last more than 1 race season unlike holeshots.

 

I have a set of realators that are on my scrammy . IF I can I will try them. BUT I DOn't think it will work.
SOMEONE told me that the Wheels(rims) will fit honda only. so i can't use the scrammy rims(this I know already)
The same person said that the predator comes with a TEAM axle and that If I had a Team axle for my scrammy that the hubs would fit. I do have a Team axle on the Srcammy.
DO any of you know if it will work?
I do not feel like going though that work if it don't.

 

hey fixit i tried my scrambler wheels on my predator and they do fit. you would have to get a thinner bolt so the cotter key will fit. never did ride the predator with the scrammy tires on there. i have the same problem with the stock predator tires. Lot of wheel spin. you no the predator has a lott of power dont no if changing tires will make a diff, but it will be worth a try.
