It seams that the 39PWK is very popular but what about the 41PWK. (Bigger is better right). I have a pipe, clutch kit, K&N, and the Bubba modded stock air box. I plan on getting some porting done but I'd like to upgrade the carb first. So is the 41PWK too much, or for race only?
The second part to this question is HPD offers a carb "kit" for about $250, while I see the 39PWK on line for about $170 and the 41PWK for about $200, both brand new. Does anybody know what HPD includes? It says "adapters" and clamps, is this the intake manifold (bigger opening for the carb) ? I guess I could email HPD on that last question but this is more fun.
Id like to hear any comments on the differences in the carbs and prices if you would, thanks.

I run a 39 pwk on mine with no problems at all.I think a 41 is a little big.You would have to have some wild porting to flow with that carb.I know bigger is better, but not always. You can however run the 41 with alky.Twice the fuel and air, roughly.I think you will lose throttle response down low with a bigger carb,JMO though.
