Hey fellas, I am getting ready to go to Little Sahara in Oklahoma in Feb. I have to get ready over Christmas break, because I'm in college. I was wondering if I could get a few opinions on sand tires. I have some v paddle tires which I find work well on the trails. I also have two pairs of strait paddles. My question is on these. One pair has 8 paddles and the other pair, paddle brats, has like 15 paddles on them. These are for 10 inch rims too. So finally my question, are too many paddles a bad thing, or I would just like any advice/imformation that you guys could give me. Thanks a lot. PS: Im riding a Predator and do all kinds of riding, and a quite a bit of dragging.

 

ive never used paddle tires,but i would imagine too many paddles could be bad if your machine doesnt have the power to spin them..im not sure which paddle would be best for you..have you seen the new skat-trak's?they look like they will be ok for trails&sand

 

I run 21*10*8 10 paddles haulers on mine when we go with no problem.Almost get too much traction.

 

I stick with 8 paddles especially if your mostly stock, sand robs lots of power, don't want to be pulled down by to many paddles.
