Default Winter Goggles

Looking for a good set of winter goggles, you know, the double lensed ones. My summer, single lense, Smith goggles fog up when the weather even thinks about getting cold. Any suggestions? What do you guys like/use?? I thought Ski goggles would work, but thought I would ask you experts first. What does everyone recommend??

have you tryed any no fog... think the folks that make
rainx make it... it prevent fogging, I've only used it on
truck windows, it usually works for a while, but you
have to re-apply.. not sure how it would work on
goggles

Hey Zac, you could try looking in the ski/boarding stores. I use the double lense anti fog hi-resolution Oakleys and they perform very well. Good luck.

Don't Even think about Scott double lens They suck!! they scratch way to easy. Just wiping them with a fog rag scratches them.

The scott lenses do scratch real easily. I bought some new peach colored turbo lenses, the anti-fog ones. They did a great job, but it rained and I wiped them off and it looks like I took a sandblaster to them now. So, I was at the dealer and they were trying to get rid of their Scott Hologram goggles. So I bought a pair for $20. And they scratche the very next day!!!! But, they look kool

Zak try smith caribou goggles, theres many different styles all with double lense. There not badly priced at www.denniskirk.com And mine never fog. I need a new lense but thats after a summer and a winter of use. And they never scratched bad enough to even notice. I really like my amber lense...really helps depth preception in snow.

go to ebay and buy yourself a pair of snowboarding googles. I have Arnettes with the rose lense which allow me to wear in the bright snow and also at night under headlights. They won't fog on you and still don't have any scratches after about 10 rides and taken quite a few twigs to them. I got them for $20 and they retail for $70. Many other pair to choose from just make sure you get a lense that will attract some light for night rides.

I would just go into the dennis kirk catalog and find your model. Get some double lens replacement lenses...get clear, and amber. Amber for sunny days, and clear for night. That is what I use snowmobiling...you can swap lenses in 30sec.! Then when summer time comes back, single lens for practice, and roll-offs for races...my goggles are invaluable to me!!
