My friend has a stock blaster and I currently have a stock trailblazer I have raced him many times and he keeps outrunning me I was just wondering what can i do to out run him. I want to spend at the most 500 dollars.

Take about 200lbs off your bike, and add a clutch kit. Blsters are light and the engines are very high performance, the trail blazer is not a very high performance two stroke stock like the blaster is. Did he have any mods?

Alot of guys take off the fuel injection system, the electric start as well as the battery and braket. Some guys even take off the extra frame metal such as in the front. You can even go as far as taking the reverse gear out of the trans. The floor boards and the back brake. But I ask you with 500 to spend , how old is your bike. Ever think of selling it any buying a blaster. If your bike is not that old you could probably sell, it and take the extra $500 and get a blaster. If your looking for trails such with heavy mudding then stick with the TB and don't worry about speed. If you want speed and wana do more mx stuff or just fly though trails , then go for the balster or a similar sport.

Runts, what mods do you have already? A pipe, clutch kit, and new filter will wake up you machine pretty good. Your best bank for you buck is the
RCR Stage 1 kit. Thats only $325 with free shipping (pipe, clutch mods, air filter, air box mod) Another company to look at is HPD as well as Aaen. There ar a few people on here with highly modded trailblazers that will SMOKE a blaster and take a scrambler 400. Talonhawk has an HPD reed conversion TB and 2manyoys has an Aaen Stage 5 TB. These guys are the ones that can tell you what does and doesnt work. They have tryed it all

ok, a few factors i have to consider before making my opinion, first, what year is the trailblazer? Now for me I would put into consideration, is what can you get out of ur trailblazer, and take that money PLUS THE 5 hundred, and search the classifieds for a faster quad. Ok, now your shaken your head thinking that you want to keep urs. Well fine, put a new clutch kit on, K&N, etc. Also does it already have aluminum wheels?? that might make a difference, it did for the Scrambler:/

Ditto on what BigBad said. But if you go with the RcR stage 1and add a few more bucks to your $500 you can get a fresh topend and check with Bubba for a port job.Tthen you would be able to run with anything out there.
