Yes it will work in the trailblazer an it will give you alittle more power. It hard to get into the intake boot but can be done. You will need to rejet it.

First thing is do you have any mods? This will help determine the main jetting. I have run the 34mm carb for a while on my moded TB and it did give more power but it will never have the response of a flatside carb. You can also use your stock airbox and intake manifold. The best way to put the bigger carb is to make sure it ( the boot) is not cold, then use dish soap. The best lubricant for rubber. It should slide on fairly easy. If you do not have any mods then the main jet should be around 150-160. Keep everything else the same. You just have to adjust the needle and airscrew. Just keep an eye on the color of your plug. This should get you close but if you have mods then each mod will change the jetting. Let me know what you have and I can help you get close. Also you need the brass choke fitting from the 400 to work. If you do not have this the choke wont work. The fitting from the 30 mm is different and will not adapt to the 34mm carb. But everything else is the same. Good luck!

You will gain better bottom end and slightly more top end speed. Throttle response will be better than the 30mm but wont be instant response like the flatside carb. If jetted right it will not make the quad any less reliable. It is a decent upgrade. How do you like your RCR kit?

Default 400 carb on a 250???

thanks for the input truthfully i dont have the rcr kit on yet i am getting it for x-mas its just sitting in a box calling to me i am kind of worried about putting it in now because of the jetting, it is so cold around here i am sure my jetting would be off and i dont want to hurt the piston i may just stay stock till spring then put the rcr kit and carb in at the same time so i only have to mess with jetting once.
if you cant tell jetting the carb scares me i see people haveing probs with it all over the forum
my only hope for getting it all done right is guys like you thanks..

Since this is a really old thread, you may want to start a new one. Probably get a few more views that way.

Simple answer would be yes, but couldn't tell you what jets to use.
