What they need to do is take the 700 twin, put in the scrambler, but with the predator front end suspension. Cause i wish there was a way to do upper and lower control arms in the scrambler. they just need to make a 700 automatic predator basically.

This idea has been thrown around here a lot lately.

First of all, scrap that 700 motor. It won't do any good in a sportier quad. Start from the ground up. Redesign a lighter, more high tech frame. Add some sporty suspension, auto tranny, 4WD, and definately a whole new engine. Maybe the Pred engine will do just fine, but it would be cool to see an all new engine in that baby. Keep the Scrambler name on the side of the fuel tank. They can/will DOMINATE the market. Polaris has the potential of making a quad that one ups (if not more) the Scrambler in both quality and performance.

Look at me. I make it sound easy. lol I can hear the Polaris heads saying, "Yeah, sure. Hold on, let us whip you up a quad."

I know the Scrambler is sporty but how does the 4x4 match up to other 500 sport utilitys like the Sukuki Vinson? I'm trying to get the best of both worlds and need some advice before spending all my money. Thanks!

The 4wd on the scrambler (and all other polaris quads) is far superior to that of the vinson's. Not bashing the vinson, because it is a nice quad, but the scrambler has the advantage here. See the vinson, even when the 4wd switch is engaged, is still limited slip. The scrambler is true 4wd and it even kinda saves your 4wd system but not engaging it until u really need it (when the rear wheels begin to slip). Only complaints I have on the polaris 4wd system is that the front wheels turn (15%) slower than the back ones with 4x4 engaged. Small price to pay for true 4wd tho and it normally doesn't make any difference, especially in mud. For a sporty 4x4 you cant beat the scrambler IMO.
