Default What size rims and paddles for 98 sport?

I was wanting to buy some rims and paddles for my 98 sport. What is the best tire and what size rim can I use? I have been looking on ebay but I'm not sure what the lug hole size is? Will any 22x11x10 work?
Thanks for the help!

You should have a 4 on 4 rear bolt patter and 4 on 156 in the front.Thats pretty standard for polaris. As for tires and rims, stock is a 22*11 *10 for tires and 10*8 for rims. It's really up to you as far as tire size and width.Smaller =more holeshot less top speed.Taller or same as stock =same top end speed or more, just a bit longer to get there.I run 21*11*8 10 paddle with a 14/34 gear with no problems.I run a consistant 5.30 on race gas.

As long as it's a 4 on 4 it will work.I think what you are asking is about the backspacing of the wheel.I think it is 2+3 offset.I used a set of blaster wheels and drilled them out with a 1/2 bit.Polaris studs are big.

Thats it, just didn't know how to get there. No balancing problems after you drilled them out? Thanks for your help!

401 hit it on the head pretty well. The 2 strokes tend to like the smaller diameter tires. They can get in to the power band quicker. This is important for sand trails and sand hills. So a 20x11x10 or 21x11x10 are good choices. If you go with a 22x11x10 you may need to go with a smaller front sprocket to get back some bottom end. You may want to do that anyway for hill shooting.

I have had the best luck with 22-10-11 skat-trac 10 paddle haulers. I have tried the 20 in sand skate ll's and then to the 20 in haulers and ended up with the 22 in 8 paddle scat-trac edges they gave me the best time hill shooting. a 1/2 second better. Then got the 10 paddle haulers and picked up another .6 second. Did this all in the same day at Dumont so riding conditions were the same. Used tires off our Hondas as we had drilled the honda bolt pattern into polaris wheels and then run the polaris wheels on the hondas. Saves taking too many spares along for the trip. This worked best for my bike with its mods and running 14-34 gearing

I am running the Skat Trak Haulers in a 20-10-10 eight paddle on Douglas 190's with no problem. Wish I would have gotten the 10 paddles though. No problems turning them but I think I would still have the power for 2 more blades.
Just my $ .02
