Running the Scram without the a.b. lid

Well, I talked to Rick for awhile before I decided on buying the HPD kit. He told me that the older scrams expecially would run like **** without the lid off.
Scram man- I have no idea what the dealer wants for a K&N. But, I paid about $35 for mine and $10 for an Outerwears from Rocky MT ATV

With temps like that i dont think you hurt anything, I would just keep the lid on for now and get the HPD air box mod and a K&N....

it looks like i will be gettin a new filter and possibly a new helment becuz my birthday is on the 12th,how much does the hpd airbox mod cost

$100 but they just updated their site so the prices might have changed.. Their new site will be done the 2nd...

we took the lid of my friends 02 scrambler 500 and it didnt make any difference whats so ever,but i took the lid of my 02 scrambler 400 and WOW it made a huge difference,the lid will never get put back on my machine..
