Welcome to the wonderful world of atv maintenance. If I had a nickle for every tie rod end I've changed on a Polaris, I could buy the company. It's still the only thing I ever had to fix on my Sport, so I can't really complain. But I still had to change them about every two months.

Hey Bear600, how many miles do you have on your sp600??? After atv pulls all last summer, half a dozen very
abusive atv rides in northern wisconsin mud and rocks, and two relentless hunting trips my '03 sp 600 is
doing just fine. the only thing I've had break was a c-v boot that tore when I backed up into a tree branch-
my own fault. of course I think cleaning the bike up and maintenance after every outing has helped!!!

My 600 has 170 miles on it and i forgot i changed a cv joint too.and my 600 is spotless its always clean and what kind of maintenance would prevent a cv joint or tie rod, valve, hub bearing from breaking i change my oil every 50 hrs i grease the ball joints i clean my K&N air filter every 2 weeks and put K&N oil on it,any idea to prevent what broke on mine beside not using it i do use mine every day!!!!
