I love Polaris to death but I will tell you one thing there manual is terrible. I was looking in it the other day and wow, they have all of the types of quads that they make in one book and you have to find what has to do with yours. Does anyone know of a better resource than that of Polaris?

 

I like mine. It covers the scrammy 400 and 500 from 99-00, but the only change between the 2 machines is the engine (400vs500). Other than that the are the same. It beats the others IMO

I have the Polaris service manual for each of my bikes. The front cover shows ONLY 2001 Polaris 400CC 2 Wheel drive. Nowhere in the manual does it ever show a 4WD or a 500CC. My trailboss is equally exclusive? Maybe the old bikes/books showed more? Do you have an aftermarket (clymer, chiltons etc) manual?

Mine are both Polaris.

 

you gotta be talking about the manual that cam with the quad?the service manual should only be on your specific machine..

 

I just got the Polaris service manual for my Trail Boss off Ebay. With shipping it was 23.50, compared to 54.00 from the dealer. Now it's time to start to some mods before summer gets here.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
