my buddies 02 scrammy 500 is the same way.my 02 400 have been fine untill recently,the front and rear quit on me.i replaced the pads bled them and it worked for like 1 hr,i bled them again and there fine.
when you bleed your brakes what order do you go in?do you start on the rear or the front left,which is it?

when i got my scrammy,mine worked but they had very little feel in them and it was either lock em completely up or dont use em at all,now i use my fronts all the time,i replaced both front and back pads but the front is the only ones that work now,oh well!! as long as i can stop im okay

It probably is a design flaw, but it can be delt with. If you ride a lot of wheelies and stand it on end, roll the quad over, dump it on the side you can expect to need to bleed the brakes. Keep the resivior as full as you can to minimize air in the system. For those that have them work for a while then the quit, it is a leak in the system somewhere. You may need to go further than just bleeding. You may need to replace seals,O rings,bleed valves etc... until you find the cause. Should your dealer have done this? YES. My guess is he was playing the odds that you did not bleed them correctly, and just bled them for you again. If he did not fix it right and you paid him to, I would take it back and make him do it right!!!
