high beam doesn't work.
i was just reading luvits post about changing the headlight and it reminded me that my low beam works but my high beam doesnt. if it is a 9007 bulb as i have read, high and low are on one bulb, correct? So is this a wiring problem? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Oh, if anyone is wondering i still haven't got my scrambler back from the shop yet. They said it would be two weeks, now its been over three. I have owned it for over a month now and still havent ridden it. Hopefully it will be done today, we are expecting some snow tonight. thanks again

Hey mabell1, where do you ride? Anywhere on the mountain? I'm over here in Summit Point. Usually we trailer down 81 to Edinburg, VA. About 1 hour and 15 minutes from Charles Town, taking 340 all the way to Stephens City and hopping on 81. Good luck with your Scrammy. My cousin in Kearneysville has an '03 Scrambler 500 HO in blue with yellow trim. They're lots of fun. I'll have to ask him about the headlight situation.

i live in shannondale. there are a few miles of trails down by the lodge. i ride there, behind the house in the woods and on the roads. are there some good trails down there? Are the trails down there open to the public? Where exactly do you go? Is it in Stephen City? Im am thinking about getting that blue plastic for my scrambler, if i ever get it back!! thanks for your help

Here is the site that tells about it. It is free and open to the public. http://www.r8web.com/gwj/atvtrails.htm
The trails there are pretty good, i think best around. There's about 30 or so miles. Some are fast and some are slow and technical. They are marked also. I think you can even camp there. There are sites on both sides of the mountain.

does it get real crowded? are they strict on the rules? the reason i ask is because i bought a little 50 for my six year old son. and im getting ready to buy a viper 90 for my nine year old. i read that they do not allow kids to ride. i would like to take them some time, especially if you can camp there. thanks again

I've never seen Rangers or anyone patrolling anything, and I have been there about 6 times. I have seen Parents with kids on 50's, 80's, and 90's. They just can't go through the technical stuff (quad just won't make it). But there are plenty of main trails that they would make it on though. It doesn't get too crowded either. The main trail is wide and is shared with trucks and jeeps and such, but they are crawling. The rules are that everyone must wear a helmet and the exhaust must have a spark arrestor.
I forgot to mention on the last post, but we go to the Lee Ranger District. The trails are called Tasker's Gap and Peter's Mill Run.
