ok im stumped. i dont know what to get. should i get the hpd pipe and silencer or the rcr stage kit 1. i wanna have some grunt down low (i hate the horrid lag of the line and the way the engine bogs on donuts) but i also need top end to keep up with the bigger guys. by the way this is for a 2003 trailblazer 250. all i have on it right now is a K&N air filter. any help is greatly appreciated.

Humm, After this do you plan on adding more mods after this?

If you go with the HPD stuff which is more money, you will also want a clutch kit..

If you don't plan on adding more mods you should go with the rcr stage 1 you get a lot for your money...

I would wait on the carb for now, When you do get the carb the 35mm pwk seems to be the best... I would get the rcr kit for now then save up for, porting, and milling the head...

here are some sites,

HPD
RCR
AAEN
Hot seat

Anymore questions just ask

thanks a lot for the info. yeah ill wait on the carb. i for got about aaen. are their products good. so far im leaning towards the rcr kit. do you know if it is loud. i cant have it too loud cause of the cops aroung here. already been busted once by undercover cops. had to go to court and the whole 9 yards. you should see what they are doing down in my area they are totally raping the land and building houses. i gotta get as much riding in as possible before its too late! again thanks a lot for the input trail rider 500.

Put the hpd pipe, then get it ported for like 210 bucks and have 65hp. The gain is pyscho fast. well worth the 200 bucks.

OK, first off your not going to get 65hp from a trailblazer 250, thats the 400.

Second, work with Rick @ RCR, he sells HPD parts in addition to his own line of parts. Anway CALL RCR and tell Rick what you want to accomplish and what you want to spend. Let him tell you what to but, then LISTEN to him and buy what he recommends. I'm running a HPD pipe with a stock silencer on my 400. Real low key, not loud. RCR great to work with and has customer service second to none.

When your ready for a carb let me now, I'll make you a sweet deal for the PWK35 on my pic page.

Just give Rick @ RCR a call and he will point you in the right direction.

Isnt HSP Hotseat? If so, I have 3 2003 250's TB I have hotseat kit on one of mine, (Pipe, clutch and carb) and it does alright, donuts and wheelies ok. You can tell a big differance between the other two and the one with the hotseat kit installed.
My pipe is a one piece design though, not a pipe and a silencer separate.

Just my .0002 cents worth
