Default NEW SP500HO TIRE SELECTION

Mine came with the Goodyear Raw hide grips, They have tough sidewalls, almost puncture resistant,I run 2-3 psi in mine all the time.
" Awesome tire" not for the road though.

What didn't you like about the XTR's and how were they for fast trail riding?

What size are those tires on your quad?? Any probs with rubbing?

p.s. nice job on the plastics!

589s are excellent but a little rough on the trail. A better all around choice would be the Goodyear Mudruner.

I'll trade a set of goodyear rawhides off my 2003 sp400 for the xtr's! I like the idea of lighter weight and the "sportier" handling.

Thanks Camoman. My tires are stock height size and 1 in. wide on the rear (13 in. I think). I have not had them rub yet after two good rides. They are great mudders.

Hey all,
I had just put a set of the Titan 589 AT, same as the itp 589,on mine and do not like them,In deep snow they dig down and spin alot or you end up with the creators at each corner and have to push.I have talked to a few people that have the titan 589m/(Maxium Traction ridges}and like them much more than the 589at.The difference between the two are the AT have a solid lugs, where the m/t ,the lugs are hollowed out in the center and have small ridges between the lugs.Which i guess makes for better traction.I am not sure yet but I think that I am going to stud my ATs to see if that makes a difference or we are about to get a shippment of the 589m/t in at work, which have been on order sence last oct,and give them a try.If interested I will give you a good deal on the ATs when the M/T come in.
Rich
