Yes it is, but you will need a battery eliminator from white brothers, it basically a big capacitor. I think they are around 20 dollars!

yup u can basically get the kit from anywhere(hsp, hpd, rcr, aaen) it runs off the engines rpm's so when ur iteling the lights arent bright but when ur driving around they get brighter.

If you don't care about the lights, is it possible to run the bike with out an eliminator kit? I am presently removing the starter and battery, removed the Light barand lights. The only light that will be on the thing is the tail light, which when out on the dune I really could care less about.

If you run it w/o the battery and no capacitor, you will eventually burn out ALL the bulbs due to power surges from the stator having no place to go (battery being gone)

I have ran with no battery or capacitor for over a year with no blown bulbs. I run a tail light and headlights with no problems dash lights are fine too.

Although 123's testimony is great, I would still error on the side of caution, and run the cap. Also, Ricky Stator has some great prices on upgraded stators.....if you ever want to run some mosquito burning bulbs.

Actually, I do want to eventually run some 100watt 6"- 8" lights later, maybe if it is even possible, so I will keep that in mind!
