The color of my plug is the same as the inside of an exhaust pipe, all black dry film. Should I drop the main jet down one size? I have a 500 scrammy with HPD's airbox and jetkit which now has a 170 main jet, I wondering if it's too rich!

 

If it's black and sooty then it's probably too rich.
