Uh Fidge...$800 and "well worth it"? C'mon now, let's do the math on dollars/hp. The duals are cool, don't get me wrong, but that's a chunk of change.
Wild, where's West Bend?

west bend is about 30-45 min north of milwaukee, i believe ther is another member from wb, name is like grizzlytim or something
my property is great for qauds, some small woods, 2 fields, which comes to a total of about 50 acres, my gma has more great riding conditions like wodds/swamp/hills, a small course, and even a small sandy area about 1 sqaure acre. the great thing is is that to get to my gma its only bout 2 miles away on back country roads, i ride my motox bike ther all the time
my riding conditions are all great, mort ppl dont think ther r good riding places in SE wisconsin, but im living on one
(not wanting to brag or anything)
another ?
i havnt gotten the predator yet, but my dealer has o4's for $6,100, are they all msrp or can i go outside local and get cheaper?
another?
we have a 1300 foot straightaway, how fast do u think i can go on a preddy, my stock 03' 100r can do that in 18 seconds, calculated out to like 58 mph! lol, im like 180lbs and 5'10'' on a super small motox bike, main reason im coming into qauds
wow, its psat my bmtiede, ill cchek bcak twoorrw monrimg

wildshananagans, That ad is for a 400ex pipe, not the Predator. Different atv's get different results.
just depends on how much the factory choked the motor down. You will not get that much gain on a Predator. The pipe test were all done on the same day and same Pred. They used the manufacture's suggested jetting. The dyno is the only tool to tune and test parts on. Just ask Nascar, NHRA, or any major race team. The problem is you cannot compare one dyno to another, there all different. We use the same dyno and the results are always duplicated on the track.

So just to mention one variable....traction. You always have the exact same traction EVERY run? Hmmm, I think not. Preliminary test and tune. Measurement of product gains (validation of HP claims) that's for a dyno. There is a need like Doug stated for real world. Striking a fine balance between the dyno, and real world is when people win races. There are WAY too many variables in racing to just rely solely on dyno results.

Modquad, I know the people who support and are supported by HPD are going to say there products are the best, the Dyno does not back that up. It has nothing to do with traction, several runs were made to get accurate results, No pipe was superior in every rpm range, some were good in the mid range and others good up top. Driver ability will make up for less power, but a dyno tells you if the power is there. It takes both to win on a regular basis. So before you get you panties in a wad, no one is ******* the HPD pipe. Fact is do I need to go back and pull all your post where your wanting to see dyno number's???

this isnt as accute as a gun.. but next to a sled i was going 65... with a 13t front sprocket and wasnt topped out yet...
i mean.. thats slower than a z400.... and a pred isnt that slow!

No panties here Sparky, us veterans don't go there. The statement wasn't in an attempted defense of the HPD gear....it doesn't need it. The statement was that there is a balance that is needed between dyno and real world testing...hence, those NHRA and NASCAR test days, the pro's know they have to use them both. Just pullled one variable out of the air, hmmm, now llet's look at another. How about quad suspensions. No matter what your dyno tells you, if you don't have the proper setup, whether it's for drags, MX, or harescrambles, you could have all the hp in the world....and be nothing but last place. Big picture, step outside and look around.
Hozed, considering margin's of error, that's pretty close. (uncalibrated speedo's)
