My friend was in a similar situation you are now in, If you dont mind the extra work i would take off the front a-arms and get them powder coated what ever color you desire, you could also do your frame if you wanted along with you swingarm,

Just keep in mind if wieght is an issue chrome is not the way to go

good luck

I have seen kits to powder coat your own stuff. You can do the baking procees in your oven. Thought about doing the a-rms and the floorboards yellow, but the floorboards won't fit in the oven. Eastwood company

i don't think that you should not cook in your oven after powdercoating

i think im going to give the red truck bed liner in a can a try on the a arms, swing arm and hubs as long as it isnt a dark red and if it is dark red im going to use some spray paint and keep the rest of the frame black and make the nerf bars as on this tb

but i got one prob on that pic he has a yellow tube for his crankcase intake and on the tbs it has a black tube box for the intake thats in the way for the air scoop so i was going to put one of those tubes on but do any of you know where it ends and would it even be a good idea or not to put one on and does it affect the h/p
