Default Flywheel!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I had Rick do mine and he got it done fast and returned it quick. No complaints here. The only thing is that the motor revved like it didnt have that heavy clutch pulling it down anymore.

Default Flywheel!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I know this is an old thread, but this is what I am thinking of doing. I hear "revs quicker" but how is it affecting the overall perfomance, accelaration , top end, etc. How dificult is this to do yurself. I work in the tool and die trade and machining won't be a problem. How can i balence it. and what exactly am I drill, milling etc. Pics would help. Thanks

Also after doing this, what other things do i need to consider? I have a hotseat pipe and clutch...

The flywheel lists for $190, so be careful if you're gonna do it yourself.

I had Rick do mine, I dont know how much it helped since i lightened and changed the clutch setup at the same time. To bad my jug cracked and i found a hole in my case.

i don't think losing engine momentum will make you go faster, sure you'll rev quicker and have more engine breaking but other than that, you could lose some power.

I could see how it would work. It works on snowmobiles! I just have a lot of questions about it, that need answers before I do it!
