hozed's broken case saver (cont)
bad judgement? yes
i was lazy... and didnt wanna push my quad about 50 feet.. so i drove it. the link was tight when i took off.. and then it just snapped... but like some one said above... i know many people that have rode with no clip on it.. and never had a problem.. thats why i did drove it, i didnt think 50 feet was gonna snap it... it went on like a b!tch and i didnt think she was coming off.
in a sense i am taking advantage of polaris, but this machine has had too many problems, (rear axel bearings, front ball joints, leaky airbox, tranny rebuild, front a-arm bushings, broken footpeg bolt, loose tierod ends, bolts falling out all over the place, plastic that breaks just from normal riding, clickin in the steering post that know one can identify... TOOOO MUCH!!!!!)
i could have milked polaris for a new frame... but i didnt.. because i just figured id fix it myself.. saved them how much? 6 hours tear down then 6 hours rebuild thats 12 hours of labor + frame cost...
they are just given me the parts and i am gonna fix it.. it will probably cost them about 50$ for everything i need.
