Thanks for the honest opinion.

When I was younger I got caught up in the brand thing and I stuck with it no matter what. Now I think things are on more of an equal playing field so I'm not so partial to one brand.

Hello,

All the bikes you're talking about are good bikes, I believe in your case it comes down to what the rider feels, or in this case doesn't feel. If your son isn't comfortable on the Trail Blazer, I'd steer away from the Trail Blazer, why be riding a bike you don't like.

2002 Scrambler 400 4x4 Blue Limited Edition
2004 Trail Blazer 250 Red Limited Edition
1992 250 2x4
2003 Trail Blazer 250 Blue Special Edition
2003 Trail Blazer 250
2003 Trail Blazer 400
1995 Explorer 400 4x4
1985 Honda Odussey 350

in that price range you can also consider the blaster, 300ex,,,,and for a little more,,,you could even get a raptor 350

Hey Ozark

If you're thinking about buying anything from West County Poer Sports, talk to me first, I ended up going to Rolla and buying my last 4 bikes because of the attitude at West County, and thats after myself and 2 friends had bought 4 bikes in a year from them.

I agree. I think the "fit" for you son is most important. I think you MUST BE CONCERNED ABOUT HIS RIDE SAFETY. Make sure he feels comfortable, and that he can opereate the brake levers. Last thing you want to do is be out riding with the thought of constantly making sure you son will be able to CONTROL and OPERATE his atv SAFE!

My eleven year old nephew just got a 2001 Blaster and he fits perfectly on it. It has plenty of power, good brakes, but it has a manual transmission with a kick-start, so I am not sure of that is a consideration for you. The TB250 may be too big for a 10-year old, and it is pretty heavy to boot (about 450 lbs). Great quad for mom or dad, I just bought the limited edition and like it a lot, as does my wife.

I will be contacting Mr. Ritter in the spring for my stage one kit, it needs it.

LOL! I hear ya, man! The ONLY thing I buy from West Co. is the center caps for the Ozark (they keep falling off) and thats only cause they're close to work.......

I was thinkin bout buying one for my g/f but I don't know if it will be quick enough for her?
she has ridden my raptor several times and I know she won't have a prollem ridding this quad but I just wonder if it will be quick enough for her........will it hang with a blaster?

I really like that it is a smooth comfortable ride and she really likes the automatic transmission.......
what power upgrade options are out there for the TB250?
pipe, clutch, air filters etc.....I seriously doubt I will go into the motor......but I will put a pipe etc on it for sure......
