Buying a Polaris

Thanks Gooseman. I think I will give them a try. I'll try and let you know how it goes. A lot of people in these forums have really crappy dealers. Let's hope that we have a good one here in Asheville and don't have to end up driving to the end of the earth just to get good service.
Thanks again, Jeff

Yes,They sell Polaris. They saved me about a thousand dollars! It is defintely worth the drive.Plan on spending a couple of hours.Like others have said, they are busy. The day I was there,"Pug" said that they had sold around 30 or more.Do not look to bargain as they are barely over invoice.Good luck!I love my new ho!!

Sounds like that place in TEN makes their profits buy moving large volumes of machines at just over invoice. Where as a small local dealer makes profits by selling a small number of machines at right around MSRP.
You can't really fault the small dealer, that can't match the price of a high volume dealer, for being pissed, lol.

I agree!I would love to support my local dealer, but you can't fault someone trying to save money. An atv is exspensive.Local dealers should not be pissed at a consumer looking for the best price. They should be pissed at the dealer undercutting them.Maybe the big corporations(polaris, honda, artic cat etc...)should set some kind of min. price so it gives the little man a chance at making the sale.Or, maybe the local small dealers should sell lower than suggested retail to turn more volume.Who knows......!All I know is that when I go to buy a high ticket item ,I want to get the best price possible.
