Hey guys I’m sure you guys are about as sick as I am with these. My quad is faster then yours posts.
Anyways I hope this one doesn't come across like that.

I have an 01 Xplorer stock it's the 400 2 stroke. And I was wondering how it compares to the new sportsman’s. Mainly the 400 and the 500ho.
Is it about in the middle? I'm guessing because it's 2 stroke it's got a little more zip the then 400 four stroke. This question really doesn't have any real point behind in other then to feed my curiosity. I know it depends what you're doing with the quad. I guess I’m wondering over all get out and go. Like for climbing hills and what not. And mudding. I know the 500ho would drag me around the yard in a tug a war.

as far as the sportsman.. i think that the explorer might have more zip like you said.. it does on the scrammys so why not the sportsmans.

 

The Xplorer should be faster than the SP400, but around the same as the 500HO. Howeve, you can mod the hell out of that thing just like the scram and whoop them all!!!

 

What does that have to do with his question about Xplorer vs Sportsman???????????

YOU MAY THINK YOUR PRED IS FAST BUT IT HASN'T RACED MY 10 SPEED HUFFY YET. IT'S MODDED WITH CARDS IN THE SPOKES SO IT MAKES THAT COOL SOUND.
