No Problem BlackRaptor. If i remember correctly, there is a guy by the name of kyxplorer (or something to that affect) that flat rack races his Xplorer. His is set up with basicly a trail mod set up i believe. A 65hp utility quad

65hp DANG that's a lot.
that would be fun.
Guessing it would take a couple grand or more to get that kind of power.

I wouldn't ever want to give up my 2 stroke.

It's fun being able to get teased by the larger quads *oh it's a little 400* then keep right up with them

HPD trail mod kit will get you about 60-65hp. It is for the 400 polaris, which included your engine. You may have to do some modifications to ge the exhaust to fit right though. And all for the low low price of..................................$825!!!!!!!!!! !
Or step it up to the race mod (73-75hp) for $1550. Then there is the big dog 416 PowerMaxx kit which includes a Power valved cylinder to give you 85, yes I said 85 hp!!!!! Just gotta shell out $2495 for that one though

85 would kick butt.
Guessing with that much power it would feel like a heavy sport quad like a V force.

Too rich for my blood though. i'm just a poor college student here. haha

But that HPD trail mod with 65hp for under a grand is sounding pretty nice.
with that much kick I would be able to eat the big utility quads like the griz.

How's the life span on this motor after modding it up to 65hp?

There are TONS on people on here with the trail mod setup or something similar. If you were to add a few extras like a girdle kit and billet thead it would be better. HPD builds good motors and has put lots of R&D into their gear. Myself and many others trust their products.

Anytime bro! Not all you Raptor guys are bad J/K LOL

Pro Rider actually gets you 7.38hp (to the wheels) but you get the remaining 2.62hp (for a grand total of 10hp) once you hit your first 1000 posts LOL

With a little work the 400 Explorer and the old 400 Sportsmans will hang with the BIG DOGS and out do the 500s.
