Hard to install Heel Clicker on 03 SP500?
#1
Wondering if it is hard to install a Heel CLicker kit on a 03 SP 500 ? I am debating whether to get it or not. I want to beable to adjust it my self if I need too so I don't want to take it to a dealer to get it done. I am mechanically inclined , however I have never touched a clutch before!
Thanks!

I've never touched an ATV clutch in my life...in fact my new 400 Sportsman is my first ATV! The install is virtually identical to the 500 and I had my primary done and my secondary modified and everything buttoned up inside a couple hours and I was taking my time and rechecking all my steps. It was very easy, especially when you can refer to Heel Clicker's online photographic help. Now, I can change the primary spring inside of 20 minutes from start to finish (done it three or four times while experimenting). If you can turn a wrench and follow VERY simple instructions....you're IN!

Yes, it made a significant difference and the great thing is it is tailorable to your specific need. As far as would I do it again? I'll be buying a 500 H.O. in the next couple a few weeks and I will have the new clutch in my garage before I even pick up the machine. It makes a great machine even better!
