Tekky, not far from were you live in Gibbons Alberta, a man name Alltoys on this Forum site has 90hp 2002 Prairie 650 (now 750). Only 10hp away from 100hp, I guess? A yes, it's a V-Twin!
i didnt say it was impossible....i just said it would take some mad amounts of money to pull it off....when compared to the 400 2stroke

spend about $2495.00(USD) and get 85HP at the crank, and its the 416 powermaxx kit from HPD, im thinken it would take more than 2500, and some big boring to get it up there from stock...

Scrambler 400's are great quads, personally I would rather have a 500 Scrambler but a Blaster being a better mudder than a V, give me a break, the ground clearance alone would make it a better mudder. Then there is a little thing called displacement that helps just a little

Either the guy that said his blaster went through as deep as mud as the stuck vforce was either full of bs or the rider of the vforce didn't know how to ride at all because they only way I could figure out that a blaster might make it through mud before a vforce is that they weigh like 320 lbs. and the vforce weigh like 520 lbs.

Its much cheaper to modd a 400, by far, and the outcomes are much greater. In the fall I went to quad drags and there was a built 700 there...to 800 CC with like 10,000 in total mods ( why I dont know) and that dosent include the V itself. But anyways this thing pulled up to the line and destroyed everything!!....except two quads, one being a 500 zilla with a 700 CC Ski-Doo rotax in it ( Mega HP) And a 400 built to 500 and a ton of mods. Total for quad and mods for the 400 was about 8,500 ( 400 being used ) And man could that thing go, at the end with the v it was close, even after the v got the holeshot the polaris still won by about 1.3 feet id say, not bad when comparing the price. And the V driver, is a local sledshop owner, he knows all about clutching, in and out.

People do realize that scramblers are very out dated. Some people do mods to them because they know they will get little or nothing to update to a new sport quad.Polaris has the worst resale of all quads, sleds, andwatercraft.I would do mods to mine to if I was stuck with it.Check scrambler sales for 2003-2004,very poor.

I have rode a 400 sport (modded) and while it felt fast, the throttle felt unresponsive compared to my V. We (V riders) can get the front end up at a SNAP! And as for a little blaster making it across a mud bog that stuck a V?, Tires can make the bike in the mud. Did you have mudders on the little blaster?

So some of you guys are saying that one race determines whether the vforce is slow? ussually when people spend money on a cheaper quad, they dont take the difference of what another quad is and spend the money they saved on their quad to make it go faster, most of the time people get money they make over time and spend it. i think that Vforces are underrated, most people havent even ridden one.

ok yes im a V owner.. but im going to call it like it is.. the V is a horse. there is this thing called torqe. the V has it and then some.. im going to do this early,, you blaster owners please stay off the track when there is a V on it cuz ya just get in the way... there are prolly only two quads ill put up top with the V and thats the rapter and the yzf 450.. I drag and today i had the pleaser of dragging with a wide assortment of quads.. I used a blaster as warm up laps to get my v hot.. i walked numerous 400ex's down even after bad starts (holeshot tires dont bite in the mud) there was one was one scrambler out there (mabey it was a inexperienced rider) but time after time the only 2 quads that gave me a tough run was the raptor and the YZF 450 aand the yzf was modded mine is stock the pictures dont lie... V's have alot of potential, give it some time for the parts to be produced. the V is only one year old so of course mods are high priced. if the V was around as long as the shee our parts would be that cheap to its all about supply and demand.. i see tons of other type quads out there raps, shee's ex's scrams, but seldom do i see a V.. give us a couple years and our parts will be as cheap as yours and 100+ hp is attainable... i have been nothing but impressed with a quad that weighs in at 500+ and stomping quads half its weight.. so please be open minded and give this new breed a chance to prove itself, rome wasnt built in a day. The V is the next shee of quad motorsports...
