Sorry, I was worng, the Thundercat 1000 first came out it 1998, don't know what I was smoking. There is however a 1993 Thundercat 900 model, look is up at www.kbb.com.

how can any of you say wich is better when you havn't even seen any of them???

and as far as arctic kitty's I have seen stock RMK 800's eat those things in the mountains where it counts!!!
Flatland riding is for babies if you want real riding come out west where the real machines are

csamayfield55, you try coming WAY up north and west to bush Alaska, where the real mountains are. No trails up here, everything is just out your back yard. RMK 800's with 133hp can not compare to the 900 (150hp) mountain sled from cat. I see them all the time, no contest. We put more miles on our sleds in the winter then our cars. RMK's are great, but can't compete with the cat.

hey catterman, i just went ridin today. back in the valleys of turnagain. lots of untouched powder. hillclimbing was great. gotta love alaska huh.

That's right Akracer, I lived in the lower 48, but the snow up here is something else. There is always untouched powder, and no matter what kind of machine you have you can get stuck!!! What a blast!!!!
