Not so much of a Polaris fan anymore, but I did ride the 700efi. I played with it quite a bit. It is impressive. I can vouge for it doing high gear wheelies. I did it...easily. They did a nice job on this 4x4. I havent heard of anyone coming back into the dealership with problems either. Good job Polaris.

I wonder what the limit will be with how big the manufacturers are allowed to make their machines!!! How big is enough?
I know I have spare motorcycle motor that has a 120 rwhp(1200cc's) that I'm gonna put in my 01 sportsman 500 when I get time one of these days. I hope they'll come from the factory someday with 1000 cc motor's and even bigger, then I wont have to build one.

Like I'd be the first guy to build something with a huge motor in it. It's a project that me and some buddy's have been scheemin up. It would be hopefully the fastest 4x4 sportsman around. We'll find out. I'm buildin a go-cart with my predator motor right now. Lets just say its all motor.

Go ahead and get those videos for me. So your 700efi and 500 will wheelie in high range by just punching the throttle wide open? No tugging on the handle bars or anything like that. That's cheating. Just sit on it with feet on the floorboards and punch the gas. I have a video of my friend punching the throttle wide open and tuging on the handlebars and it won't wheelie. It pops off the ground a couple inches and goes back down. That's not a wheelie. I will upload it for you and post a link.

Just so you know, I'm not trying to argue or bash anything I am just stating that my friends 700 EFI will not do a true wheelie all by itself in high range.

Tellico, on the Honda 450, I had all kinds of problems with it not going back into nuetral. Had it in the shop several times, each time they told me it was something different and they never fixed it. Twice I had it in and they said they fixed it, I took it out on their test track and showed them the problem again, they would have it for another week, I'd take it home after they said they fixed it, same problem. The Honda comes with a lever so that you can manually shift it, which I used often. Maybe I just had a lemon, my 300 which was my first 4-wheeler ran like a champ. I think I'll stick to either manual shifting or the Polaris automatic.

One of my friends has a couple of Yamaha's, I think they are 325's or 350's, we beat the crap out of them, and they are beat, but still run great. One had a problem that it wouldn't always start and he said you have to rap on the starter. For some reason it would start, not every time. I had a DMM with me and checked the battery voltage....ahhhh, time for a new battery. The starter may have been sticky, but the battery wasn't giving it enough juice to activate it every time.
